Insanity rules the day.. perhaps my life

So with an insane morning I’m captive on my flight to Los Angeles CA.  The morning started with rushing to finish my engineering of a DC power supply that didn’t cost $200+… Why you might ask?  Because I like to stop breathing 20+ times an hour in my sleep.. Yup I got the apnea.Anyway, let’s just say that hurrying never pays off and the smoke escaped one of the power converters I was using.   So I do the race the old fashioned way… 44 years exhausted. LolJust touched down in the land of crazies and will be glad to be on a boat.. which at the moment Jimmy is singing about in my ear.  One Particular Harbor is the song of the moment.At the moment my feelings are mixed.  Very excited for the new adventure, however as with every other big trip if mind I have the crazy nerves.  It has nothing to do with safety, we are wicked safe so no worries there.  I am actually over packed that’s a slight worry. Stupidly and most insignificant, is my inability to have mastered shine stupid technology for the race regarding, Wi-Fi hard drives, route translation and offline dynamic website recreation.  All have seriously little impact on our race.  But I just am feeling like I have contributed less than my commitment.I also might admit a slight jittery feel from not knowing where I will be sleeping tonight or how I will get to the boat but I know those are trivial items I will solve shortly.At the gate…gotta deplane.. tomorrow at 12 noon pst is the start of for done reason I don’t get back.
So I’m now in the hotel in my bed.  Scotty is snoring a storm (apnea anyone?  I had a lovely salmon dinner courtesy of Lisa and John Rushing.  Then down to the boat to unpack there and pickup Scott.  Tomorrow the race begins.. maybe i’ll be able to pop a couple pics up quick.

I rated this place 4/5 – nice place close to the boat
nice lobby but a bit industrial feeling. close to the marina and if I were staying there for some other reason close to good food.
